They beat #4 ranked the University of Montreal 25 - 11 at U o f M.

Go Stingers!

Btw, Concordia did a great job helping out those Dawson students.

What a week it´s been in Montreal.

Good for you! Concordia still loses to 99% of U.S. college football programs.

lol, U.S. college football KILLS Canadian football... Sports aren´t a big deal in Canadian Universities like they are in U.S. Universities. It has nothing to do with talent and everything to do with the system.

Don´t be jealous of Concordia´s football program.

Btw, U of T with 65,000 students hasn´t had a good football team in the last 20 years.

A great university can balance both academics and athletics.

I don´t see Harvard or any Ivy league schools excelling in football, basketball, etc.

Actually most of the Ivies have way better football teams than any Canadian school could put together but they still don´t compare to US state colleges.

Dude who said it´s all about the system is totally right.

It should be a point of pride to go to a big or rich school that doesn´t care about athletics. Or at least doesn´t give athletes special treatment.

Winning university teams is a reflexion of your university´s student quality, school spirit, recruitment success, coaching program, and the "cool" factor of a university.

These things can´t be measured in university survey.

Is it fair to say that Laurier has the jocks and UofT has the geeks?
