The faculty at UofT is by far the strongest in Canada.

did you see their economics faculty? Its insane. like 90% have Ph.D from TOP american schools like Princeton, MIT, Harvard, Berkeley, etc.

Big deal! McGill also got 7 out 14 in 1999.

BTW, did you notice that 2 of the 14 awards are named after Rutherford, who was professor at McGill. Any awards named after somebody affiliated with UofT?

Ummm ... yes and I am not stupid to think that. 1) Full-time professors at McGill lead the country with the highest average research funding (Research Inforsource). 2) On average, full-time professors at McGill publish more peer-reviewed articles than their colleagues at any other university in the country (Research Infosource), and 3) The Association of University Technology Managers shows that McGill leads Canada??s top ten research universities in US patents issued. This demonstrates the high quality of McGill faculty and I can easily continue ...

Never heard of polytech, should I? Rutherford may have died in 1937 but that is not a reason to not be proud of him. Who do you think you are? UofT is proud of Banting and Best, as the school should be.

You seem to care a little bit to much about this shit. I think youre an idiot, so I will stop it here.

instead of obsessing over Mcgill, why dont you try to get good marks so that you can eventually leave that dump to study at a real graduate school (like Uoft).

:)

tsk tsk

when will they learn

Last ranking done by NEWSWEEK puts McGill 42nd in world, behind UBC at 31 and UofT at 18.

McGill has been going downhill for quit a while now (hence the reason they bumped up admissions standards), and UBC has replaced them as number two behind UofT.
