physic is hard becuz of the math, not becuz it´s physics.

same goes for anything major that deals with math - engineering, actural science, economics, statistics, and more.

I´d say pure maths, philosophy and theoretical physics.

These majors are the most abstract. You might also include neuroscience.

Engineering is not really abstract, computer science is quite abstract. in fact, most computer science students take a course in abstract algebra.

So by your rational, somebody who majors in art with a concentration in abstract art is in a tough program too?

how the fuck is abstract arts or philosophy arts hard?

as long as you do everything, you can easily pass your courses and obtain your degree.

Same thing, however, cannot be said to math or anything math related.

engineers take the most courses, and the hardest courses.

physcis courses are diffcuilt but the physics program is a much less demanding program as a whole.

Math is diffcult, but not if your ONLY focus is math, engineers and physicists learn alot of the most difficult math, but at the same time they also have to take other hard courses

engineering>physics>math>chemistry>business>arts

york does not have a REAL engineering program. Dont try to group Lakehead in with the likes of York.

Engineering at Lakehead is as difficult as engineering awywhere else, eat shit you highschool student

Okay listen you elitist children. What makes a major difficult is whether you´re talented or not in a given subject. I know people who think medicine is a joke and others. That is because people who think medicine is a joke is because they are good at memorizing. Math, engineering is easier for some than others. Same goes for all majors. You math /engineers may laugh at business, psychology, fine art or whatever, but I bet if you took an arts class, you´d flunk!

actually... im a C student in engineering, and i work my heart out. When i take an arts course, eg) Psychology, business, geography... i normally get between 75%-90%
