Ontario Secondary Schools
Students must have obtained their Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD). Under the old OAC program, students must have taken a minimum of six academic courses including English, Calculus, Algebra & Geometry, Physics and Chemistry. Under the new curriculum, a minimum of six grade 12 U/M courses is required including English (ENG4U), Advanced Functions and Introductory Calculus (MCB4U), Chemistry (SCH4U) and Physics (SPH4U). Geometry and Discrete Mathematics (MGA4U) is recommended. Students who do not have credit for Geometry and Discrete Mathematics (MGA4U) will be considered if they have Mathematics and Data Management (MDM4U) or Biology (SBI4U) or Earth and Space Science (SES4U). Students must have achieved an overall average of 70% in these courses to meet the minimum entrance requirements of Ryerson University . However, the overall average needed to gain acceptance into the Aerospace Engineering program has been consistently above 74% in recent years due to the large number of applicants.

Wow! So selective!
