Nothing.

Entering average for this school is amongst the lowest, meaning that they are rejects from other schools because no one would choose lakehead first. the schools is full of cdi rejects. highest entering average is probably a 73%, don´t argue lakeheader you know this is roughly the highest entering average give or take. ok i´ll give you some credit...highest is probably a 74%

if by leaders you mean the assistants to the queens/western/U of T/ YORK business grads...

And i will give lakehead a decent engineering program, but i like any sane person would go to another school just to get the name lakehead off my degree because 84% of the people who go there are morons (there? happy? i subtracted out the 16% of people in engineering at lakehead)(since you seemed to want back ups for your stats, i took OUACs number of entering engineers (300) and multiplied it by 4 (4 years, seems logical) and so i divided it by the total number of students (7500 according to wikipedia.org) and rounded accordingly

Many people go to Lakehead just because they live in the area. Lakehead has some highschool kids with 90+% average but nowhere as many as Mcgill or Queen´s. Yes Lakehead has the lowest average entering grade of 77% but that is only 12% lower than the highest average among all Canadian universities.
Lakehead lets in kids with slightly lower grades and still manages to educate them (as demonstrated by academic awards). That is a good thing.

Two points-

First many people do go to lakehead because they live in the area, maybe thats you. I´m certain that you as one of those people has noticed everyone around you is a moron.

And yes only 12% separates the top and bottom. But think about this, only 17% represents the difference between Columbias entrance Canadian averages and Lakehead (i´m using Columbia because one of the students from my school is going there and I know her average).

Now let´s not pretend 12% is a little amount.

Its foolish to label someone because they got a few percent lower than you in highschool. University is not highschool get it through your heads, and getting 90 in highschool doesnt make you smarter than anyone.

Ive seen scholarship 90+ students go down hard, especially in engineering and science.

Personally, im one of the 70 average kids, why would i want to nerd it up and aim for the 90% when i would rather go to parties and get baked during class, then get into a better university than the 90+ kids. A university that consistantly beats the so callec top universities in Canada in just about everything.
