even though we are 3 years old, we have already made a big name for ourselves, think about it in a few years uoit will be the next mit for sure. only 3 years and already it has made its mark. go to their site and you´ll see we´re great. although entering averages are low right now it will boost up a lot in a few years to like 85

in 150 years time...maybe? any one not got a place for 2006 Fall can look up OUAC and there are many places to be filled at UOIT, Brock and Windsor if you have 70% average.

That says it all.

stfu, the program is competitive, it´s because you have to have lots of extra stuff to, to get into uoit´s programs. it´s programs are limited. the 70 is just a prediction entering average, go ask anyone who attends uoit´s business program. you need like 85 plus...the overall average to get into uoit is approx 70 but that is overall the business program is almost as hard to get into as york

ok so only smart kids go to UOIT (those with >85%) and there are loads of places left to be filled. Go look at the OUAC and it says 70%. Its not like the 80% for Queens, Western and Mcmaster. Get Real. You can get into UOIT with a 70% (same as Brock, Ottawa, Carleton, Windsor).

i´d like to see you apply for uoit business with an average less than 85% you´ll surely get rejected and be forced to go to mcmaster/western or something. they are planning to rename the faculty too which makes it even harder to get in because then people would want to go even more then ever before.. and uoit is almost on par with queen´s/western

my ranking

western
mcmaster
queen´s
uoit
uoft
mcgill
ubc
lakehead
unbc
windsor

many people would agree with me from my school

UOIT is a big no no.. (in reply to: UOIT is #1 in canada)
Hi

I am a first yr UG at UOIT and I find the university too small. The services offered by it are not comparable to other big universities. It is better to look at other established universities. It doesn´t even have proper sports facilities, not even a swimming pool. Its too small but charges high fees. The profs are not experienced and generally are young girls and boys.Overall my experience in UOIT is not satisfactory.I will look at other good universities and transfer next year. And lastly,Oshawa is the most boring city I have ever seen in my life.It has nothing. So save your money and take a look at other great universities.
