Subject: I was just wondering about mechanical engineering
I plan on taking Mechanical engineering once I complete Highschool. Opinions on which Universities would be best? explain why if you can :)

yeah, that´s what i had thought. I had just read some people´s opinions that waterloo was better for computer related disciplines only. Thanks for the reassurance I´ve made the right choice

Your reassurance will last only until those dudes from Ryerson, Lakehead and Carleton outscore Waterloo in a national engineering competition. That said, Waterloo is still good and I recommend it for its co-op program.

waterloo took home one 1st, one second, and two 3rd place metals.

Lakehead took home one 1st, one 2nd, and one 3rd place metals.


Waterloos days are numbered....and on a different note i will admit waterloo does have very good co-op in place

Actually, Lakehead did beat waterloo! waterloo was the only school to have 2 teams competing in the same competitions. While all other schools had one team, Waterloo had an advantage by having team A and team B.

Bottom line: nearther of waterloos teams could beat lakehead seperatly
