how hard is it to get a transfer from mac engineering after first year to queens engineering. what sort of marks do you need.

baaaahhhh tranfering is god damn horrible!! especially in engineering. do yourself a favor and stay at Mac because nomatter how good your courses are you wont get full credit. generally if you have under 65% they wont even consider it for transfer.

all engineering schools hit a very high level of achievment. but while some schools have surpassed that level, other schools like queens tend to drag their feet

I´m not sure about how difficult it would be to transfer but as a Queen´s student I can assure you that you will LOVE Queen´s Engineering if you get in. The standards are very high and you´ll be in one of the top engineering programs in the country at one of the top three schools. The culture and academic standards are phenomenal!

Queen´s is a laggard in engineering. It was once a great school, but that was 50 years ago. Waterloo, Carleton and others have way surpassed it. Even Lakehead is better for undergrad IMO.
