Subject: Ryerson University or York University??
How is Ryerson University? are their engineer programs accredited? I got accept by both York and Ryerson. Some said York´s engineer programs is not accredit, but they got nice campus. I heard Ryerson offers better technical/engineering programs (ie. computer science, IT), but their campus sux. I want try EE first and if that dosent go well, then I´ll try Computer Science.

York does not have electrical engineering. LOL. Does that make your decision easier?

Go to Ryerson, their engineering programs are accredited and their programs are reputable.

York does not offer electrical engineering. Moreover, its engineering programs just started in 2001 and are not accredited.

While, the Ryerson campus is not that great. It is getting much better. The brand new electrical engineering building opened up this year. It´s a $100 million facility, and is really nice. So, if you do go there, your side of the campus will be decent. Most of all, Ryerson´s electrical engineering program is more established than York´s. It also has engineering Master´s, PhD programs, and post Doctoral programs that one can go into afterwards. This means that there are more cutting edge engineering research facilities than those at York.
