Subject: dont make fun of lakehead
Lakehead is a great school, sure its easy to get into.. but alot more people fail out compared to other more pestigious schools. At waterloo eng the average peron gets liek 80%, at lakehead eng the average person gets 50%. They may let incompentent people into the school, but nobody said they graduate.

Lakehead has an awesome engineering program, its actually accredited ahah unlike york or nipissing, brock, laurier, trent. york is the most pathetic though cause they have like 10 different engineering programs that are virtually worthless because they arent accredited.

Eat shit york.

It´s not fair to compare Lakehead to York because York doesn´t have an engineering program.

York has engineering kind of... its technically a BSc so your getting a bachelor of science, but you can major in several different types of engineering. They take a smaller course load than real engineering programs and you cant get the p.eng licence later.

Lakehead does not admit students with 50´s. Engineering entry is around 70´s minimum. Even with 70´s, some won´t be able to handle the workload and they drop out.

York´s engineering program is new to the scene. York would have to produce its first graduating class for assessment by the Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board before accreditation can be granted. With few exceptions, an accredited engineering degree is required for a professional engineer license in most provinces.
