Yeah, the US is putting quatas against the Chinese all the fucking time.

THE CHINESE BLAME CANADIANS FOR BEING RACIST, BUT ACTUALLY CANADIANS ARE BEST TOWARDS THE CHINESE. This is because the US does not even let the Chinese get green cards. U know, if they once enter the US, they will come in millions, and the pure white race in the US will become crappy Chinese.

Yea, right. At least we Canadians let them come to our country. Americans don´t want them at all.

Americans don´t want the Chinese to get into America because they fear that all the Chinese will get into their best universities (by merit), and get educated and go back to China. These are the future business, scientific and technological leaders who will transform China into the next superpower, something the US is friggin scared of.

Canada is just ignorant about all this....but nice.

You are so much of an idiot.

Who said China was a superpower??

It is not currently one. It is projected to be one, in the coming years.

Do you think the US just became the world´s only superpower over night??

One thing is sure. Canada, no matter how many years, will never become one.

Idiot.

First the Romans.... for about 800 years
Then the Ottomans... for about 600 years
Now the Americans... for about 200 years

And they will continue to be the super power... But I guess China can possibly be a super power too. However, that would take at least around 200 years. Not so soon...

Well, recently, the year spam is lower. So the UK was a super power after the Ottomans, and it was around 50 years.

So it is highly possible that China can be a super power in 50 years.

the US only emerged as a superpower after WWII. They were able to do so with the decline of the UK and the eventual demise of the Soviet Union.

Not 200 years. China´s economy is already the world´s third largest, and will overtake Japan in ten years, and the US in possibly 20.

Its military is already the region´s most powerful.

Paul Martin Know China will be a Superpower in 15 Years (in reply to: UC Berkeley has limited the enrollment of Chinese)
The Concordian: What is the biggest problem facing Canada in the next 15 years?

Paul Martin: Most of my lifetime was spent in a world where there was one dominant superpower, the United States. Your life is going to be spent, over the next fifteen years, where there will be several China, India, the European Union as well as the United States. And I think the biggest challenge we have is to make sure that while we´re only 32 million people, we will be able to compete with those nations. I believe we can, but we´ll only be able to do it if we invest heavily in education, a basic human resource of the country, and we´ve got to ensure that our social programs are strong. That, and that we stay out of deficit.

You believe everything the Concordian says?

Worse, you believe what Paul Martin, former PM, says??

Its all political correctness.

By many accounts, its expected that China will be the next superpower, and not just one of the powers that Mr. Martin believes.
