U of T or Mcgill (in reply to: Which University to choose for Engineering) Well, if u have been admitted to all of those, then go for U of T or Mcgill. It doesnt make any difference if u choose any of the above as they have solid reputation in canada as well as world.
If u are doin undergradutae studies and u want a good all rounded eduxation then go for Mcgill(If u want to go out of ontario) and if u want to go in ontario go for U of T.
The only thing in U of T is that the undergraduate class sizes for engineering are quite big.they have about 200 students for the first year and that according to me is a hindrance to get good education and also the professor student interaction is quite less.
But still choose one from U of T or mcgill based on ur prefernce.

(in reply to: Which University to choose for Engineering) If you care about going to a top grad school in the US., then I would suggest McGill. Otherwise, UofT and McGill are about the same.

(in reply to: Which University to choose for Engineering) First of all thank you for replying
Well i want to pursue graduate studies after my undergrad studies as well. Can someone give me the pro´s and con´s of going to McGill or U of T. I know McGills student life experience is superb as the campus is in downtown montreal and there is a lot to do, but can someone give me a good comparison of the two. Thanks again

(in reply to: Which University to choose for Engineering) As u know,
Mcgill has a solid reputation in US graduate school and so has U of T.
If u consider Mcgill, then u can be assured that u will get a complete engineering as well as great university experience. They have a great campus and good atmosphere.
In U of T, the reputation is as usual great for engineering in the world. But the only con for undergrad at U of T is the amount of attention students recieve during their university years.Being a very large university, they are not able to give proper attention to first and subsequent years student. If u are abrilliant and a really smart kid then U of T is the best choice but, if u r an average normal kid of high school like most ppl. then i would advise u to go to Mcgill.
Rest they are same,
so it really depends only on your choice

Waterloo Engineering is #1 (in reply to: Which University to choose for Engineering) Did you get rejected by Waterloo? Waterloo Engineering is numero uno in Canada. The rest are far behind.
