Subject: best canadian university for civil engineering
I´v heard of Waterloo and U of T having good engineering programs, but does anyone know which school is reconized as being the best in this field? Also If I go into engineering, you think there will be less of a chance of meeting hot babes? lol I´m being serious here.

Any advice would be appreciated.

actually you´re wrong, civil and chemical have a decent amount of chicks. I´d say it´s more mech, comp, ee that have less.

First off. No, I´m not an idiot. I have a 4.0 gpa including all ap courses. Second, yes It may seem very immature that I´m asking if there are any decent looking girls in engineering, but jeez it was just a question...

Lastly, no one answered my friggin question to whether or not U of T or waterloo has a beter civil engineering!

Lol this forum is so funny

screw york, it doesnt even have a civil engineering program, and its engineering program arent even accredited.

Listen here popo, both uoft/waterloo have very strong engineering programs. UofT have worked really hard on improvising its civil engineering program and is in the top 2 within canada. Waterloo has co-op, UofT has PEY. Its ur pick.

And yea, sorry to burst ur bubble there are very few chicks in engineering including civil, and those WHICH ARE present arent what u call attractive.

Queens however, has the highest female population in engineering, 25%.

mann, you guys are wrong...but what im doing is going for my Bachlors of science, don´t really think that this is gong to be best for me; but in comparison to guuys and girls in the civil engineering field its true that more guys would fall for a job like this; but best of best women have a better expanded mind to work in this field

Male Donimated field? (in reply to: best canadian university for civil engineering)
A recent announcement by Princeton University reminded me that I have not written recently about a subject that is dear to my heart. According to Princeton, its 2007 freshman class in the School of Engineering and Applied Science comprised a record-breaking, 41.7-percent women. "With 254 students," a press release stated, "the matriculating class is the second-largest ever?just five students shy of last year´s record size of 259. The percentage of women in this year´s class is nearly six percentage points above last year, which was the previous all-time high."

(Check this)

female faculty members in Princeton´s engineering school has doubled during the last 10 years, from 7.7 percent in 1997 to 15.4 percent
this was the year of 2007. but wow!!
anyone who reads this will be wowed...so male dominated work fields will be at its end, and equality is upon us:) men and women will share the fields:)
