Check out Financial Times 2006 MBA Rankings:

This year, Schulich blows away U of T!

Schulich is #1 for 2006!

Yeah, McGill and Queens are overrated!

Molson missed the list this year. Molson is underrated.

Look at the criteria they use for the rankings, some of them are kinda silly.

Funny how when York ranks high in something, people are eager to pounce on the criteria that was used for the ranking.

Yet, merely a year ago everyone was parading that Rotman was the best in the same ranking and never even bothered to question it simply because it was the U of T.

Let´s just say that when Forbes, FT, Economist, and the Aspen Institute all name Schulich as 1st in Canada, it probably means something.

Face it, Schulich is a good business school that´s comparable and competitive with Rotman, Ivey and Queen´s.

Schulich is also a part of York. Deal with it.

Same with Osgoode.

The fact of the matter is that Graduate level programs is what gives recognition to schools.

Same for U of T.

It doesn´t matter if you´re in the MBA program or not because the rankings give recognition.

Furthermore, in many cases the same professors teach the undergraduate program and some of the courses are actually the same.

I am sorry but I would never go to Schulich for their BBA.
The curriculum sucks.

Don´t be so sensitive about York. I don´t like rankings even when they show off my own school. Some of the criteria is indeed silly but York scores consistently high on these lists anyways. The simple fact is York has good biz and law programs. Anyone who´s actually considering biz or law school knows it´s hard to choose between York and UofT (unless you hate Toronto, which narrows the choices).

Personally I would choose Osgoode for law and Rotman for biz.
