Why is it always an Indian asking about Canadian universities?

Mcgill funding is okay at the moment, it´s not like new orleans and the school just got flooded or something. No, there are slightly worse places to be than at mcgill.

Actually, I´m Colombian, not Indian. Having cosmopolitan parents has its advantages, notwithstanding the occasional neanderthal on some websites!

"McGill consistently leads the rest of Canada in terms of research dollars per full-time faculty member and number of refereed publications per full-time faculty member. According to a study by Research Infosource, research funding represents approximately $381,100 per faculty member, the highest in the country. McGill also has the most per faculty research dollars nationwide from federal and provincial sources of funding (including the Canada Foundation for Innovation and the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council)."
from Wikipedia
dunno how much of it goes to materials engineering.
