Subject: mcgill or uoft for engineering
i just wanna´ know.....which one is a better university for mechaincal engineering....mcgill or uoft....i´ve heard that toronto is better recognized as far as job prospects are concerned in canada.....i wanna´ go to a university which is well recognized....is loads of fun...and in the end u find a decent job.....i also wanna´ know whether montreal is a better place to live than toronto....urgent help needed as i´m running outta´ time with the deadlines....

That´s right, I have also noticed that students for some reason have tendency to defend their own university without knowing anything about other university.
Only those students who have attended two or more should have a word and should speak up.
As I am student of U of T and have never attended McGill University I will not say much.

Mcgill is better than U of T because it is cheaper than U of T and also it is no.1 university in Canada.So dont waste time in U of T.Be realistic...

UofT has been ranked #1 in Canada for god knows how long. For mechanical engineering, Toronto and Waterloo are above all else in just about every aspect.

UofT has a 90% acceptance rate, anyone can get in (there are over 60000 students!!!)
