I´m still waiting to receive AOR. On the Canadian High Commission site it suggests that if no AOR is received inside of 8 weeks from the time the application is forwarded to their office that it would alright to fax them. Have you done this yet? If so, how did it turn out? Any progress for you?

Hi Lonelyone, I have faxed the office in Kingston 3 times, you won´t get a reply, but they will receive the fax, I used my ID number the first time I sent the fax because I did not have my husband´s ID number.
I have since received the AOR, the file number was sent with the notification.

I send them a use of a representative form for my husband, otherwise they would not release any informaiton to me.

As of Wednesday my husband has been granted permanent resident status, he will arrive in Canada between Jan 9th-12th as I had already purchased my ticket to JA for December 24-Jan 9th.

My husband truly believes that it because I annoyed them constantly why they completed the application so quickly.

I hope you hear something from them soon and yes, go ahead an fax them, it certainly made me feel better after sending them the fax.
