It seems we get a lot of posts from Asia. However, I´d like to know if anyone has any information about anything from Accra such as timelines, Request for passports e.t.c

Hello Fellow Nigerian,
I am still waiting to read from Accra. Just as I mailed before I sent my application in August 2001 and according to the CIC website they started processing it first week of september 2001.
I want to know if you were contacted through regular mail or email, I heard of someone today who got request for ROLF and police report through email.
Have you register for IELTS?

Hi Busdare,
I got an email from Accra. I did not register for IELTS ´cos there was simply no time. However, I sent a written submission, if they request for IELTS then I´ll do it.
When did your friend submit his application?

Hi Teefrmnaija,
My friend submitted his application July 2001. Why not go to the school you graduated and request for a letter that yyou had your degree in English language. That could help, I have seen someone who was lucky through this way.
Please did you tell Accra that they can contact you through mail? I want to mail them that I will prefer correspondence through mail, my friend got his letter very late from them and now requested that they can contact him through email and the next time they requested for documents from him was through email.

Hi Busdare,
Once you initiate any email communication with them they will as matter of policy continue to communicate with via email.
I suggest you just send them a mail informing them that they request for any information through the email address you use.

As a naija person processing the PR , i had to take the IELTS in March of this year ... even though all my education has been in English . Dem no send at all .
Timeline
Aug 2004 : CIC Started processing application
Feb 2005 : Received Letter - interview waived,go for medicals , IELTS requested
Mar 2005 : Medicals and IELTS done
May 2005 : FBI Report sent to CIC
June 2005 : PR Visa fee requested
June 2005 : PR Visa fee paid

I used an agent ..intl executiv eplacements in ikeja
i wonder if u have heard of them.. they dont request people to take ielts and most of their applicants get waivers...
well i submitted dec 2001.. nothing yet still waiting ...
