Subject: Police Certificates for Nagorno Karabagh |
I spent 10 months in Nagorno Karabagh working on a development project back in 1998/99. I require a police certificate for the time that I spent there, but I have been unable to find any info on who to apply to, or how to go about getting hold of the certificate. Does anybody have any suggestions, or better still addresses/telephone numbers of who to contact?
Thanks
Pete

(in reply to: Police Certificates for Nagorno Karabagh) Nagorno karabakh status is still disputed, I worked there but for a shorter period, 2 month for karabakh telecom..
Officially it is an Azeri territory, and you will need a certificate from the azeri governement, but from the other side they have an unrecognized governement in Nkr, Azeri governement will not give you certificates since you did not enter from their frontier.. Armenia has nothing to do with nkr.. your best thing to do is to write CIC and explain them the situation, most probably they will not ask for a certificate..
