I got married with Canadian and I want to send an immigration form to CIC but I had so many bad things in last year or so and I could not send my immigration form. Then, I did not know that if I already apply for immigration as long as I submitted to CIC I can stay. So insted of submitt my immigration paper, I applyed for my visitor extend visa but I got back once from CIC and I sent back again with some missing documents but after 2 months later, they sent me back and they reject my visitor exted visa.
Right now I am in overstay and my lawyer told me that "even you are out of status, you can still submitt your immigration" but I can not really trust this lawyer. I just do not want to mess up more than now so if anyone can tell me is that true or not, PLEASE ANSWER MY QUESTION!!!!
Thanks

(in reply to: I need help!!!) Well if you can´t trust your current lawyer why stay with that lawyer???? You are paying for a service and should be able to trust the person that you are using.
Anyway, yes a of February 2005 even if you are out of status you can still apply in Canada for PR status.
Visit http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/sponsor/faq-spouse.html to read about the changes to the in Canada application process.
