| Subject: did anyone got PPR? |

I check other WEB site, there are some luck ones got their PPR who apply in 2004 from Jan. to Jun., even some Aug. applicant got PPR. however, i found most of Jun. and later applicant haven´t got it. could anyone tell me WHY? are they all in background check? some told me the background check is in selective examination, not every one, right? is so, most Jun. and later applicant are not in background check. then, what we are waiting for?

We applied in Oct.2003, waiting for PPR, and believe that all depends on the fact how fast one´s backgroung checking is conducted, and I think it´s selective. Example: one of my friend´s BCheck took 6 days- seems to me enough to transfer documents from one deck into another one. and it´s being more than 6 months for us.

oh,hell,
we ´re in the same situation,my husband and I applied in oct 2003 too and after too many faxes they recentley replied they cnanot guarantee any timeline. :(

yes,i got this letter from Immigration regional program center in buffalo.and here is the letter:
" Please be advised that your application is in a queue awaiting final review by a responsible immigration officer.Unfortunatley ,we cannot guarantee a time frame for finalization on your case.
thank you for your patience and understanding. "

I would guess that it means you are done, except for waiting for a new year´s quota of visas. It sounds like good news!
