Hi Scientist,

I read your previous post...here´s my opinion:

Experience: All job experiences for the past 10 years related to what you are applying for in Canada will be considered. The visa officer will decide how many years will be counted as your experience. So just submit as much proof as you can to avoid any doubts on the visa officer´s mind.

IELTS: If all your documentations are ready except for this IELTS, I would suggest to go ahead and apply even without it. Furnish CIC with all that you have mentioned as proof of your English ability. You may or may not take the IELTS after submitting your application. Nowadays though, taking the test is highly recommended...but that can follow....goodluck

Scientist, if the cost of the IELTS isn´t a big deal I would say just do it it could eliminate a dalay if they request it. You can always apply without it and forward it after you get your AOR. Think of it like insurance you may not need it but if you have it you may avoid a big problem (time delay).
