Buffalo could easily put out a column on status, predictions, etc. on the net. Wouldn´t cost much money to them and everyone´d have some quality information on hand. One little announcement would do the trick and save them a lot of hassle with inquiries. Are you reading this folks, in Buffalo? No, probably not.

they already do. they update this information every quarter and it is the most accurate thing they can give you. from July 2004-July 2005
30% of the cases were finalized in 18 months
50% in 24 months
70% in 31 months
80% in 34 months
there is no possible way to provide status or predictions for every single application. Think about it... if it was so easy to do so don´t you think they would prefer to do it rather than read 10,000 faxes asking them how much longer???
They cannot tell you in advance how long your application is going to take because THEY DON"T KNOW how long it will take you to return requested documents, get your medicals done, send in your language scores, or complete your background check.

Do you think Buffalo folks or any other immigration folks really care how long applicants wait??
They could care less...they have to do their job...and their job is much easier when people are not emailing and faxing a hundred times to ask about the staus of their application. Let them work and things will get done.
If you are that antsy about waiting.....get a hobby!

Natch I did not mean idividual cases. Things like major delays or improvements directly related to Buffalo operations in general were on my mind. But enough said.
