Hi!I just wana know If I can sponsor my husband even if I´m still a month new on my job. I landed here in canada with my parents, siblings and my daughter 4 mos. ago and my status then was single. I went back to my home country to marry my boyfriend, and now I´m back here in canada and i was wondering If I´m eligible to sponsor him. What i really worry about is, im stil a month new in my job, so do i stil have to wait for a year or so to sposor him??? pls help... i´d appreciate it so much thank u...

Yes you can. Spouses are exempted from financial requirements.

I´m not so certain. If she were a citizen, it´s a different matter; as a PR, and so soon after arrival, it might be treated a little more cautiously.

No. As PR or Citizen, both are treated the same.
You have two main cases:
If you are sponsring Spouse and/ or kids then you are exempted from financial requirements because one of the main aims of the immigration system is to keep the family togther.
But if you sponsoring anyone other than what mentioned above such as father, mother, sisters, etc, you are required to proof you financial status and be able to cover their needs.

Hi this is kumar iwant to know that can i sponsor my adopted son he is my wife sisters son he as adopted in september 2006 iam an immegrant with pr status i moved to canada 2 weeks back.my wife and kids have the visa they are traveling in july. If yes what i should do and whom to contact.
