One guy stated on the other forum that he called Buffalo office, and this is what he said:
"I called up the Buffalo consulate today and they told me "we have exhausted our quota for this year. We will send passport requests to people whose file is complete starting in Jan""

Looks like Buffalo CIC has indeed reached it´s quota of the year.

i don´t believe it.people just keep spreading rumors ,buffalo cic never answers any calls regarding immigration.

Duses and Dudettes,
Incase if any of you did not talk personally with the immigration guys, then do not spread all these rumours and rubbish.
First of all its hard to believ this story because, its hard to talk to immigration guys. the website clearly states that CIC normally respond only by e-mail or fax. If its so easy to catch immigration authorities by phone then everybody will do it, which implies the immigration officers will do only this job of answering phones all day long rather than doing some work.
So no nonsense please.

Sorry to burst your bubble guys but you can infact talk to people in immigration. Maybe not directly to Buffalo but you can talk to people in the know through the provincial government as they have access to information in federal levels. It looks very like Buffalo has reached their quota/or are very backed logged, it is frustrating but all you can do is sit back and wait!!!!!!

Guest, even if that is so, nobody is going to give the private information about CIC quota, whether it is fulled or not. So no rumours please.

I am not writing rumours!! However it is the only logical explanation on why no-one is getting PPRs. That said it does depend on what catagory you applied under but after surfing numerous other sites it does seem the case that very little people are getting any other response other than #early 2006# this is the case in SW and PNP catagories so it does stand to reason that the quotas are filled. This is only my opinion, everyone else can believe what they want to. When someone asks a question you cant slam people for answering it just because it is not what you want to hear. There is no set rule in immigration on how or when you are going to get AOR, IA or PR so we can only guess and give infromation as we see it or have experienced ourselves.
