hi,
my application for in canada family class has now started processing.
what happeneds next?, and how long.

You wait for them to make a decision......you will get a letter once the decision is made and it will say the file has been sent to the overseas office for processing.You will receive the file number in that letter.
Don´t expect to see any change on e-client until the minimum number of days that CIC says processing takes has gone by. You can even expect a little longer time for processing.Don´t get all excited and stressed if the 37 days or whatever it is now has expired and nothing has happened. Give them a week or two after that date.
All you can do is wait and hope they do not send back the application because something is missing or something was not signed.
This part is now out of your hands and you can do nothing about the process at this stage. If your application is straight forward and you have supplied all documents and evidence, it will just be a waiting game from here on in.
If prayer works for you, do lots of it. If not, you can hope for the best!
