| Subject: To include my American son in PR application |

Hi all,
I apply for Canada PR under SW category. I have a son who is an American citizen.
Should I need to include him as a family member to apply for PR in Canada.
I thought American citizens can enter Canada with no visa or PR required.
Can you let me know about this.

you need to include him as a family member anyway but you can chose whether he will acompany you or not if you chose not, he can enter Canada with his US passport as a visitor only, but he can´t enjoy other benefits a PR does, like free medical care, free education...etc

I will include in my PR appln and he will accompany us (me and my spouse) as he is old young to live on this own.
