(in reply to: TRV incanada student) Try Seattle instead, it is quicker (4-6 weeks) since Buffalo is always super busy. Check the cic website for the list of documents and dont forget to download the Buffalo or Seattle specific document requirements.

I don´t know if you are unaware of that, but plz be informed that you don´t need a TRV if you have a valid Study permit and you are travelling only to/from the US to return to Canada.
