Hi,
I am an in-canada applicant and have been in Canada for last 4 years. Last week I received my CAIPS notes and found something strange.
In the summary section, TOTAL FUND indicates "$00000000". I have all my money in the bank in my country and submitted bank balance from that bank. The statement shows the total balance in CAD in English. My CAIPS also indicated the amount of fund that I specified in the initial application and also says that they recieved another bank statement along with additional documents after IA.
Does anyone know why it shows $0 in CAIPS? Is it because it is from the bank in my country? I looks like my BDEC is done (BDEC 1 22-11-2004) but I wonder if it´s being delayed because of the fund.
Please provide some advice.

Please let us know your caips timeline, when you applied and when you received your caips.???????
$0000000 appears in most caips, its ok.
No dont worry you will get PPR this year or early next year
I had applied for caips its 40 days now, no caips. Applied 28August!!!

timeline now is about 6-7 weeks

sent caips request: Aug. 4
ottawa received : Aug 6
ottawa completed process: Sep.28
caips recieved: Oct 3.

Thank you for your info. You should be getting it by the end of this month. I am also one of the student gang in canada like you. I have a question for you.
In my caips, my BDEC is as follows in many places.
BDEC [blank] 22-11-2004
but only in the summary section, it indicates:
BDEC 1 22-11-2004
Also SEC and CRIM sections are blank.
Does it mean the security check is done in my case?
Waht does 22-11-2004 mean? Is it a starting date of security check ?
I would appreciate your advice.

Peobably, verification of your educational and work experience credentials were completed by 22-11-2004.
SEC amd CRIM blank means your security checks are still incomplete. When these are completed, these status should change to 1.

Security check- along with the police certificates you submit CIC starts electronic checks by a central security agency to other countries that you have stayed. Its receives OK from them and then security checks are cleared.
