i am currently working on a avalid work permit in canada. my wife is back home and she applied for a visitor visa to visit me last month and she got refused. from my side i provide all the supporting documents including medical insurance, return ticket, work permit, invitaion letter, marriage certificate, job letter. since she is also employed and working for almost 4 years now. visa officer told her that she will not come back. i invited her to be with for 2 month only. now what should i do. should i apply again. i have heard they cant refuse spouse visa. any kind of help would be much appreciated.thanks

(in reply to: wife visa refused) I think its more important for your wife to prove that she has significant ties in her home country - bank account, letter from her work, copy of return ticket, info on her home lease/mortgage...stuff like that, which will prove to the immigration officers that she has ties and will have to return to her home country.

(in reply to: wife visa refused) I was refused once too, because I was traveling with my partner, but I did need the visa, he didn´t.

(in reply to: wife visa refused) You shouldn´t do that, simply sponsor her as a husband.

(in reply to: wife visa refused) do what Candice told you , but don´t apply again with the same documents submitted first time as it will be another refusal, try to bring something new, some more proofs, thats all you can do.
good luck
maher
