Subject: medical question
I am about to submit an application for PR for myself and my wife under skilled class, with me as the principle applicant. 1/ Is it advisable to hire an immigration agent or immigration lawyer complete the process.(I have the required points and job arranged)
2/(medical) My wife was in a bad road traffic accident some time ago and is now partially disabled.(damaged bach and nerves). Is this enough to get the application rejected.I would be grateful for any advice

it´s hard to tell without more details about her medical state, and exactly her needs, its not a bad idea to consult an immigration consultant.

MTS, thanks for the reply, she had a spinal fusion after the accident as she suffered a prolasped disc. The fusion consists of pins and screws holding the lower vertebra stable,Currently on anti-inflammatory tablets(diclofenac)
She can walk/ drive all the normal stuff, but would be unable to take part in physical sports etc

Applications for permanent residence will not be accepted if that person?s health:
is a danger to public health or safety; or
would cause excessive demand on health or social services in Canada.
been on this kind of tablets alone is not considered excessive demand, however if she needs any other kind of care that might be considered excessive demand and she will be inadmissible.
