Hello all, first of all wouyld like to say that this forum is a great resource.
Yes, I received my IA from Buffalo yesterday. It was about time. Seems like CIC is moving their butts again. Albeit very slowly.
I had applied in September 2004, and it seemed everyone else got their IA´S in June 2005. Except for me, so I was kinda mad at buffalo for slowing down.
I was a student in Canada for 4 years doing University.
Below is my timeline.
Applied Buffalo in SEPTEMBER 2004
E-CAS READS STARTED PROCESSING JANUARY 2005
GOT AOR FEBRUARY 2005
IA OCTOBER 2005

Its wonderful news for us all. Although we all believed that we are moving forward in the process, this is truly a visible evidence vindicating our belief´s.

pls provide info abt which class you applied in as it makes a difference in the processing times.
I got AOR in March 05, applied in Nov 04 in SW category.

Same here, Buffalo March 05 AOR.
Received Ielts request,will be submitting
scores shortly.

Congrats Hardowe,
It´s really encouraging. I got AOR in Feb´05 so now I can finally expect IA in the coming weeks.
By the way, did they waive your interview or not?

same here, applied dec 04 and AOR march, 05. I do not mind waiting a few months more than doing IELTS. I hope they do not make me do it.
Do they ask for IELTS before IA or with IA?
Brian, you seem to share timeline with me, would u b kind enough to let me know when did they ask for IELTS score?
Is there any one waiting for IA instead got IELTS request?

I got my ielts request in august to complete it within 120 days,no I have not recieved the IA yet.

Take the IELTS when you have the time. Its valid for 2 yrs. Advantage is that if you screw up now, you have enough time to take it again.
