Jenny: Unfortunately, there seems to be a real slow down in processing. I completed Meds/Docs in June, and recently Buffalo responded to my email (buffalo-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca) that my case will not be finalized until early 2006 (see other recent posts where people have heard the same thing). Hopefully your case will move faster, but many of us are looking at several months more wait. Good luck.

Jay, I think you´d better get in touch with your center, somehow. 17 months after AOR is unusual. There´s probably something wrong and you need to know about that.

I have heard that it takes bwtn 18 ~ 24 months for the process... last month I had sent an email to Canadian Consulate @ Buffalo... I got a reply saying my file is still under process... Can you advice of any other way to get more info on the file ?
