Subject: Border records |
I have been crossing the border into canada for almost five years now to see my wife. Now that we are finally getting or documents together i am woundering if there is anyway i can prove that i have been crossing the border to see her. Maybe they keep records at the border?

Just send a fotocopy of the stamps of entry in your Passport along with your application.

(in reply to: Border records) I wonder what sort of records they do keep. Surely there is a way to prove your crossings from a customs standpoint, but possibly only if a need is determined by either country (ie: security issues). I don´t know. I´ve travelled to Canada from the US for nearly 15 years, typically several times a year, and I don´t have a single stamp in my passport to prove it. Maybe they stamp for other countries, though. I have wondered many times what sort of measures are taken by customs; obviously each car is photographed, but often times they don´t even check my passport or any ID at all. Good luck!
