I applied for my spouse´s sponsorship who´s in India, here´s the timeline.
Got Married in India: July 15, 2005
Got Medicals Done in India: July 19, 2005
Application Submitted to CPC Mississauga: Aug. 02, 2005
Mississauga Received Application: Aug. 04, 2005
Mississauga starts processing: Aug. 19, 2005
Decision Made and Application sent to New Delhi: Aug. 19, 2005
New Delhi starts Processing: Aug. 30, 2005
Passport Request Sent: Sept. 07, 2005
Passport Request Received: Sept. 09, 2005
Passport sent (via speedpost) with Surname Endorsed: Sept. 14, 2005
Passport received at CHC New Delhi: Sept. 15, 2005
Visa Stamped: Sept. 28, 2005
Passport received with Visa Papers: Oct. 03, 2005

Its the spousal case, not a Skilled Worker, so things do go fast in that. And yes I am not mistaken on the dates.
