Sorry, Mirza I couldn´t resist. Initial Assesment should come after about 2-3 months after applications are in. Then, it´s a waiting game for a time that could be 6-12 months, depending on what´s going on at the office. Like vacations, holidays, backlog, or just bad hair days.

Mirza: You might look at yogi799.com (Buffalo time lines) to try to estimate when you might get IA. The terms are foreign at first, but unfortunately, pretty soon you will be speaking and thinking in those terms ("Honey, I can´t believe we don´t have the IA yet--think of how long we´ll wait for the PPR!").
