| Subject: Quota for spouse case?? |
I read on the forum that the quota is full for the year but i am just curios to know is there a quota for spouses as well. I applied for my husband from india, so he is not coming any time before jan 2006, u mean to say??
please help and advice.

Dude there is quota for all categories. You mean to say in hypothetical situation of about a million canadians marrying outside Canada, they will issue PR to all??
Ofcourse, there is a quota, only it is enforced by deliberate delays on your file.

There had been many rumour about the quota on the forum. Final statement is : THERE IS NO QUOTA FOR SPOUSAL CATEGORY. Relax Nancy. Your husband will be here soon. My wofe´s case was done in 2.5 months.
