hello guys,
how long is it taking to get CAIPS nowadays. I have placed my request for CAIPS to ottawa on 4th august and have not got it yet.any idea about the times.

Usually they are bound to respond by 4 weeks timeframe. I have ordered mine through http://www.caipsnotes.com - they told me it should take 4-5 weeks.
Maybe you can fax them to ask what the status is.

I also ordered CAIPS on Aug 2 by a regular mail within Canada but have not received it yet. I believe we requested CAIPS at the wrong timing since during Aug, most people go on vacation. Please let me know if you get it.
What´s your time line anyways? Mine is:
AOR: Nov. 2,2004
IA: April 19,2005
Medical: May 2,2005
PPR: waiting

But i believe that ottawa staff do not process student visas and stuff. SO i do not know why they are delaying it so much.Anyways i applied myself and did not apply through caipsnotes.ca. So loks like it might have been a better option eventhough we have to shell out around 70$ canadian.
My timelines are
AOR- august 15, 2005,
IA- march end 2005
Medicals-april 15, 2005
PP request-waiting till now.
Iam also a student in canada. Hope we get the CAIPS soon.
