Does anyone know for sure if you need to show proof of funds if you a applying as a temporary worker? I have a job offer and I don´t want to screw it up by not being prepared.

(in reply to: funds) You dont have to show proof of funds ONLY if you have received arranged employment from HRDC. Just having a job offer does not help you evade the proof of funds requirement.

(in reply to: funds) Thank you. I know about the HRSDC requirements on having to approve the offer. But I had a very hard time finding where it said the proof of funds requirement would be waived with HRSDC´s approval. Do you know where it states this?

(in reply to: funds) I arrived to Edmonton, AB last Monday (Sep the 5th) with a temporary work permit, and the officer at customs did not ask anything about proof of funds. Hope that helps.
