Hi Friends,
I applied as a SW in Nov 2003
AOR Dec 2003
IA July 2004 informing file is being transferred to NY and interview is required
Jan 05 Letter informing file has been transferred to NY
feb 05 Letter from NY office informing me to submit IELTS Score
Apr 05 Submitted IELTS Score
June 05 Recieveed a letter from NY office informing application ahs been accepted and interview is not required and ifnromed me to pay the ROLF and go ahead with Medicals
I completed my medicals in June last week and send the ROLF in July 1st week.
How much time will I have to wait for PP Request and also should I send them a polite fax after 3 months requesting for an update on my status if i dont heard from them within one more month.
Can I go the consulate office and will I be able to get an update from NY office if I go there personally.
Please advise...

I believe that you are almost done and you should get some information soon. It takes approx 3 months to get the results of the medical. If you dont get any information by the end of this month you can write a letter.
I am not sure if going to the Consulate in NYC will help but you can give it a shot.
