How do you know that CIC was updating e-client yesterday?

Updates are generally reflected on Monday.

Because when I wanted to check.. I got a page stating "we are updating the web-site, please check later".

This got me excited that they are finally updating the database and my case will be updated.

The stuff that irritates me is my AOR is dated Feb 2004 and I did medicals in Oct 2004. It is about 11 months and the Eclient still does not confirm "Medicals Recvd" as many on this forum have confirmed for their case.

However, I did call Ottawa Medical office and the nice lady confirmed that my medicals have been recieved and the results which are OK have been duly forwarded to the CIC.

Unfortunately it is BG check in effect which has kept me in a limbo. No news, no update, not to know how long it will take and how much more to go.

Even if I take 6-9 months from Jan 2005 when I submitted my ROLF - I should have heard something by now. But No....

Well I don´t even know why I´m writing all this.. does not really concern anyone except me.. but I´m just so darn frustrated with this suspense.. Now I know why people call this the dreaded weeks... the time after medicals there is nothing absolutely nothing... happening ...

aaaaaahhhhhh...

I have had a similar experience , I did my medicals almost a year ago and I already paid the ROLF. My Passport was requested about a month ago and e-cas still showing "We started processing your application on Feb 4th".
So.. e-cas sucks!

I know for fact that CIC did the background check , asking for my police record in Canada and in my home country.

At this point , I am waiting for my Passport back , the background check was the longest part of the whole process though, because the RCMP takes forever to respond. (150 working days).

So , be patience... your PPR will come soon!
Cheers

starwars:

I very well understand your feelings. Do you know my timeline: Jan 04 AOR and Sept 04 medical.

Buffalo informed me three weeks ago that my bchk is complete and the file will be placed for final review soon(?). On Aug 29 my e-client also changed to medicals received but no PPR yet. So the waiting continues and really frustrating...
