hello there, I have been deported this january from the US after having overstayed my WT ( I remained 72 days over my accorded 90). I wonder how this will affect a possible student visa application I might file. I had legal advise and they said it doesn´t affect it at all, but I need to check. Thank you!!!!!!

(in reply to: canada student vusa after US deportation) i don´t know anything about canadian student visa. this is canadian immigration forum. if you are from a country that is difficult to get canadian student visa such as china and india, it might affect your case. if you are from switzerland or similar rich country, i think you should be fine as they do not scrutinize on those country´s citizens too much.

(in reply to: canada student vusa after US deportation) ops, sorry!! I am Italian, I don´t need a visa to get into Canada, I can stay up to 6 months! I wouldn´t say Italy is rich, but we are doing pretty well!!!!
