Subject: Booking a trip
  My residency application as spouse of Canadian living in UK started in process 5th Aug.
We are about to book flights for holiday abroad at Xmas but it seems quite likely that Dec. is about the time they will be asking for my passport. Can anyone advise me what to do here?
Presumably if it clashes with or it´s close to the holiday I can tell them that they can´t have the passport until after my 2 week trip?
