hi..
i have to get an FBI clearance report as i have lived in US earlier. But currently i m in Saudi Arabia. is there an official FBI website that talks about all this information. i have read it on many forum that it requires 18$ draft. will they require any additional fees for mailing it back overseas.
i´ll appreciate anyhelp.

May be not otherwise CIC would have provided you information. FBI website does not provide any information on subject matter but you may give them a call or write them on their information address. Click on "contact Us" and it will give you a list aof different departments. Try your link and write a mail to most appropriate one. Otherwise simply send $18.00 money order and they will contact you if they require additional money. Remember any amount more than $18.00 will delay the process because it has happened to me once. I sent them a money order of 25.00 dollars and requested them to send me through express shipping, you know what happened. They returned every thing to me and asked me to send the exact amount. Therefore just send what is required and dont forget to write a letter that why do you need this clearance, you may make additional comments about overseas shipping in that letter and provide them your phone no., e-mail, and complete address so that they could contact you incase they need additional money.

Send in the $18 exact and if you want express shipping, open up a Fedex account online. all you need is a credit card, then email the FBI dept at mih@leo.gov that´s what i did and I worked with someone named Brenda. She just asked for my account number (fedex) and I got my FBI fingerprint card stamped back within 2 weeks of sending it in.

i contacted fbi by email and they rsponded me that only 18$ and they will mail the result overseas
