does anyone know what the current waiting period is at LA, for the interview call? my file was transferred there in May 2005.

No idea about LA, but if it is the same as in Detroit, it might take 6 to 8 months before an interview can be scheduled. Mine took 6 months after file was transferred....goodluck.
