Hi everyone
I have a quick question.
I am sponsoring my husband from mexico as most of you know. and i had a question about whether or not i need an explanation sheet for this:
I was born in israel to an israeli father but a canadien mother their for my mom never sponsored me to come to canada, she only sponsored my dad because i was already a canadien citizen at birth. i have a canadien citizenship card to prove i am a canadien citizen, but should i have an explanation sheet to explain that i was never sponsored to come to canada, even though i was born in israel?
thanks for your advise
good luck everyone

(in reply to: Need help!!!!!) I don´t know for certain, but I wouldn´t think so. If you´re a Canadian Citizen, no further explanation should be necessary. I believe there´s a spot on the sponsor application where it asks if you yourself were sponsored to come to Canada. Answering "No" would be a truthful answer.

(in reply to: Need help!!!!!) A letter of explanation will never hurt. If you feel better including a letter, then you should.
