Subject: Domestic tuition fees with AOR
Hi everyone: Im looking for feedback regarding qualifying for domestic (and not international) tuition fees if you have received AOR and your application for PR is in progress. Can anyone give me written literature on this topic? Do you know of any schools in Canada that offers this? I need concrete proof of this and I know that some schools do offer this to students.

The reason for my research is that I found a school in Toronto and it´s website clearly indicates that if you have met all the preliminary requirements for PR and your application has been accepted by CIC then you qualify to pay domestic tuition fees. However when I called them to confirm this, the international students admissions office had no clue about it and when I directed them to the website they just ignored the point and insisted that if you´re an international student you MUST pay the international rate. The website directly contradicts what they claim. I want to fight it and I need as much research as I can possibly get to proove my point.

Can anyone provide me with information on this? Thanks for your help.

Well, I have read on this forum that some schools do offer this but I would like some names and literature on it. The school I want to apply to clearly states it on its website but is not practicing it.

Well,

unless you have your "Record of Landing" ... differential fees will not be waived...and once you get it .. they will return you the money you paid for that given term...

First and foremost ano, it is not a "few more thousand bucks." It is $2200 versus $11000. That´s a $9000 difference. I dont have $9000 just sitting in my bank account like you do.

Departure Bay. I´ll give you the website tomorrow once I have researched this more.

What is a "record of landing"?
