A few minutes before, I have received a phone call from CIC Buffalo that they have received all the required information. Now our file is placed for final reveiw and they will take a final decision soon. Moreover, they have extended the validity of our medicals which will be expiring on Sept 03.
I am feeling very much optimistic - expecting to see some change in e-client coming Monday and PPR by end of next week.
PS: Our visa(s) and study/work permits are expiring on Sept 30. We have kept the renewal applications ready and were thinking to send to Vegreville next week.

what do you think: they called you because you have sent a lot of faxes? Did your medicals expire already or not?
Our will expire on September 10th, and I´m wondering- should we wait or start to send faxes now? What would you suggest?

Thank you all for your wishes.
Though I sent multiple fax but they replied me only once in April, 2004 that they are waiting for the background check results. But from my caips notes I found that my background check was completed in Nov 2004 and there was no entry in caips about my wife´s bchks. So I knew they forgot to initiate bchk for my wife. I was expecting the bchk to be much easier for my wife because she was born and raised in one city in India before coming to Canada whereas I lived in at least 10 different places in India.
In my last fax in July, I pointed out the above observation and also mentioned about our medicals, visa, study/work permit expiry stuff. I also mentioned that I will be completing my PhD end of this year. They might have looked at my file because of the above facts. BTW, my BF´D is 10-10-2005.
If you need any thing from me, I´ll be happy to share my experiences.
