Subject: 65 Points (once more)
I applied in March 05 and AOR April 05

I have 3 years work experience and I will have 4 year experience by Jan 2006.

With 3 year experience I will have 65 points
with 4 year experience I will have 67 points

recently I got request for IELTS Score. and I send them the Score.
also I send them copies of recent pay stubs. but I didn´t write anything requesting them to consider 4 years experience etc

will they consider that? should i write a separate letter to them requesting to delay processing until after Jan 06?

Please advise

Just hope and pray to god that you do not get IA by Jan 2006. I will strongly recommend that you update your work experience information by the end of this year. Send pay stubs, reference letter clearly mentioning the number of years you have been employed.

The immigration officers will not assume anything and take a decision based on the information they have in front of them.

What if the application is rejected due to lack of sufficient points "before" it can go past the IA?

I thought that the points had to be as of a certain date, where then your argument considering the time makes sense, but what if the application even does not get past the IA stage?

IA is exactly that. Initial assessment. the only reason it will be rejected before that point is if you have not supplied all the appropriate forms and documents shown on the checklist, or if documents are incomplete, or if you do not show funds for settlement.

if you´re worried, ask them to put your appl on hold til jan for "personal reasons" and that will give you the time to make sure they dont assess you prior to obtaining your full 4 years of exp
