  Dear Rana, Thank you so much.
I would like to tell you that, I e-mailed some lawyers about this exact question.
Will my application to claim refugee statues in Canada be affected negatively because I have in a way or another residence in a third country?
No exact answer >>>>>>>>>>>>>>
I read in many websites that my home country is on the list of IBR but, I not sure about my visa.

My respect.

Shirin,

As Sharon mantioned in your last posting:

"The following categories of persons are not eligible to have a claim referred to the IRB:

(1)Persons recognized as Convention refugees by another country to which they can be returned;
(2)Persons already determined to be protected persons under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act or its regulations;

As if you have never applied for refugee status in UK, its mean you´re not under the first condition, and second condition if for if you have already apply for canada.
Apparently, I don´t see any problem there in your condition. Moreover, according to offcial refugee claim guide, you could file application nearest you, and if you have Life risk or some other issues in back home, how you could return back to apply? secondaly, Uk and Canada is not so close, you just drive and come, and file your application on border. Most prompt option you have to apply right there.
